UNBELIEVEABLE!! See Nigerian Baby Girl Born With Natural Blue Eyes

Hello guys! Meet Kaila, a healthy baby girl born with natural blue eyes. However, her parents are from Delta state but unfortunately people tend to be running away from her because of her beautiful blue eyes. They say it’s scary.
Her father’s older brother also has blue eyes and had to deal with been discriminated against and stigmatized because of the color of his eyes growing up. In fact he learned to walk with his head facing down so as not to scare people away.
Kaila and her uncle are not the only ones with this special gift.
Other members of their family also have blue eyes or blue patches in their eyes.
While I’m not a doctor, I know that there is a scientific explanation as to why they have eye color synonymous with Caucasians. I also know from my belief as a Christian that God wanted it that way.
So that they possess blue eyes doesn’t make them different from you and I.
It is just a mutation and Kaila, members of her family and any other Africa with blue/ green or grey eyes should not be treated differently or made to hate themselves because the color of their eyes.
Thank you.

The police men who harassed and threatned to shoot me have been jailed" African China reveals

On Tuesday, February 7, singer, African China shared a video of a policeman threatening to shoot him while leaving the set of Sound Sultan's music video in Ajegunle, Lagos (read here). LIB reached out to him to explain what transpired between him and the police and what steps he has taken to resolve the issue.

When LIB asked him to narrate what happened he said;

"I went for a video shoot in Ajegunle. While the video shoot was on, a group of area boys came to harass me for money and all that. I agreed that I was going to give them because if I don’t, they may damage my windscreen or something else in my car and you know now, everything has added money and I didn’t want them to damage anything. I wanted to leave with my car the way I came with it and it was actually help I came to render to my friend, Sound Sultan. They were about eighty area boys and they belonged to different groups and cartels and each cartel had their headman. So each of the group presented their boss to me; I asked them to appoint somebody amongst all of them whom I would give the money to. They had a little meeting and later presented a guy they wanted me to give the money to. I told them they should allow me to finish my shoot first. After the music video shoot, I called the attention of the guy and gave him the money. The money became a problem for them and they started fighting. So my boys smuggled me into the car and we were about driving off when from nowhere, a policeman with gun pointing at my car asked me to get down. I called the attention of one of the officers and said I’m African China and I speak for the public here and trust me, I need to get out of this place and if I don’t, you won’t be able to handle this".
When LIB asked him how much he paid the area boys he refused to disclose the amount, saying;
"It is not necessary. The reason why I won't disclose the amount is because now, it is a public thing. When you say it, it attract other to start demanding for more money. This ones were too many that was why I gave that amount of money."
LIB asked him the demands of the police men who prevented him from moving; he said "What else, their own share na"
LIB also asked if the police men mention he should settle them he said' "Yes, they did"
Speaking on the steps he has taken to resolve the issue, African China said he was at the police two days ago and that the police men involved are currently in police custody
"The IG was interested in the case. As I speak with you, the two police men have been apprehended and are in police custody right now at Ajeromi Police Station, Ajegunle. They have been jailed and may be dismissed from the force too."

Messi bought his neighbours' house because they were annoying him.

Lionel Messi has dealt with the problem of having annoying neighbours by simply buying their house, like a boss.

By Adrian Collins
It's not often we hear of Lionel Messi doing something extravagant with all his money, but it seems like he might have done just that by purchasing his neighbour's house.
According to a report in Spanish paper El Mundo Deportivo, Messi is currently living in the Pedralbes area of Barcelona with his wife and son, where they bought an apartment a little over a year ago. However, they are only there as a temporary measure while their house in the Castelfedells neighbourhood is being renovated.
His neighbours, who were having problems meeting the demands of their mortgage, offered to sell their house to Messi, but the Argentine wasn't interested.
As a result, the neighbours poor behaviour increased, including a lot of noise and loud music at all hours, but that wasn't the worst of it. To make a bit of extra cash, they started renting out the house to interested fans and celebrity spotters who wanted to get a look at the football superstar.
When he built a wall to stop this from happening, they threatened to report the Messis for making the wall too high.
As a result, Messi decided to just take their house, as they originally suggested, just to get some peace and quiet for the price of about a million euro. It's a tough aul life all the same.                             MESSI NA BABA JO

N14,500 For 1 Bag Of Rice, Nigerians Rush To Buy For Christmas

Reports have it that the demand for locally grown rice has increased among Nigerians especially in Cross River state as Christmas approaches.
This is unsurprising as the cost of imported rice has risen to between N22,000 and N26,000.
According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), a Calabar resident Richard Nku had this to say:
“It is cheaper, more affordable and even sweeter than foreign rice. So I cannot spend as much as N26, 000 just to buy just a bag of rice simply because it is foreign.
“In this Christmas, I am going for locally made rice and that is what my family and everybody in my house will eat until January.”
Raymond Ubi, who also resides in the Cross River capital, said: “I go for our own made rice, no matter what people think about it, I prefer it, in fact I like it more than the so called foreign rice.”
Fidel Egoro who is one of those farming the rice in an interview with the press, had this to say:
“We are under serious pressure to deliver on demand and that is why we cannot accept people paying us through banks.
“We do not have the time to go to the bank, so we prefer cash to save time; many people have placed orders for rice and we are trying to meet up before the close of the season.”
There are also fears that with increased demand the price of the rice might actually go higher before Christmas.
Egoro says: “One bushel of rice (equivalent of half bag) sells for N7,250, while two bushels (equivalent of one bag) sells for N14,500).
“This may increase before the close of the season, depending on changes in cost of production.”
Meanwhile, a recent market survey conducted by NAIJ.com at Agege market, Lagos, revealed a slight increase in the price of rice, beans, groundnut oil, palm oil, onion and other foodstuff items.
In the market, traders lamented the low sales they were experiencing even as Christmas and New Year celebrations approach.

Snowhite: A poem for my wife Precious Chikwendu - Femi Fani-Kayode

The former minister wrote a beautiful poem for his wife, Precious. Read below...

From the hills of Ohafia and the valleys of Abriba comes you that makes me smile. From the forests of Umahia and the lush green fields of Nanka comes you that brings me joy. From the eastern shores of our nation where stars shine brightly and from whence comes men whose spirits cannot be broken comes you that gives me hope.
From the lineage of those who dare to believe and from the stock of those who soar like eagles comes you that creates new beginnings. God brought you my way and has given me a new lease of life. What a gift you are- not just to me but also to humanity. Your star shall shine from generation to generation.
Your strength and confidence shall speak for you all the days of your life. Your talents shall open every door that you seek to enter. Your beauty: every radiant and everlasting- shall shake the very foundations of humanity and move even the hardest of hearts. You are Snowhite and you shall remain as white as snow from beginning to end. Your sun shall never set and God’s light, not darkness, shall follow you all the days of your life. You are not just the Queen of Pageants but the Queen of the Ages.
From generation to generation humanity shall testify of your kindness, your love and your good works. That is your destiny and that is your portion. Let not the storms of life ever cause you to give up or forget it. With you there is hope- you are Snowhite: the one that makes me smile and brings me joy.
